A history of innovation
Bahram Boutorabi, CEO and Founder of CDT presented @ OpenStandards 2007 on the subject of OpenID. OpenID removes the need for multiple user names and passwords in existing Internet technology. It simplifies the user experience and lowers the cost of ID management. OpenID offers a provider-independent, standards-based platform for authenticating individuals, with the option to incorporate advanced multi-factor authentication methods. Based on the "3 domain" model, already used within the credit card industry, the OpenID framework utilises a single ID that remains the property of the individual whilst providing Single Sign On to the increasing number of OpenID-enabled websites.
Bahram Boutorabi, CEO and Founder of CDT presented @ OpenPublish 2007 on how the web is undergoing a revolution from information - to applications - and on to interactions. By looking at the latest interface technologies from Google, Yahoo! and others, Bahram's talk examined how businesses and users can gain from using the latest Web 2.0 technology.
